Mark Manning is a talent acquisition expert with over 10 years of corporate, agency and RPO experience. His unique background brings a multitude of experience from all sides of staffing. He has developed business, sourced/recruited candidates and managed on-site and virtual Recruiters for agencies ranging from boutique style firms to multi-national agencies. On the corporate side of the industry, he has handled the full life cycle of staffing for hospitals, property management, telecommunications and energy industries, big tech companies, government organizations, and startup businesses.
In 2014, he was the Lead Sourcer and Recruiter for Google North America’s talent acquisition staffing program. Mark developed an expansive network of talent acquisition professionals from around the country. Some of these networking contacts include Recruiters, Sourcers, Recruiting Coordinators, Staffing/Branch Managers, Regional Managers/Directors, VPs, and C-level employees. He also brings to the table an excellent understanding of CRM software, applicant tracking systems, personalty/culture fit assessments, salary negotiations, on-boarding procedures, mobile and social media recruiting, and networking websites/organizations.
As the Recruiter for Tallann Resources, Mark focuses on sourcing and screening the best possible staffing talent for our clients. His extensive understanding of talent acquisition roles throughout so many different industries gives him a thorough understanding of what to look for in candidate backgrounds. Mark graduated from Kent State University in 2005, with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a minor in Psychology. Outside of work, Mark’s hobbies include virtual reality testing, racquetball, 360 degree photography, web design, traveling, classic video games, and spending time with friends/family.
